Happy Birthday Card
What you'll need:

Some nice tubes
Envelope template here
Background pattern here
A nice font
Plugin(s): DSB Flux here
Texturizer here
Animation Shop

Let's get started

  1. Open all tubes and font and minimize
  2. Choose a nice color from your tube as foreground and change your background to pattern and find BG_pinkwatermarked.jpg,
    Angle 0 - Scale 100 % (when you don't like the pink, just colorize it before)
  3. Open a new transparent image 400x475 pixels and flood fill with the pattern
  4. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your solid color
  5. Image/ Resize to 90 %, All layers Unchecked
  6. Effects/ Plugins/ Texture/ Texturizer



  7. Apply a drop shadow



  8. Copy and paste your tube(s), resize if necessary
  9. Put it on a nice spot at your letter
  10. Activate your text tool and search for a nice font that will be readable when it’s small
  11. Type your text
  12. Merge visible
  13. Edit/ Copy
  14. Activate the envelope image and activate the back layer and past as a new image
  15. Image/ Rotate/ Free rotate



  16. Move the card so it fits into the envelope



  17. Selections/ Load/save selection/ Load selection from Alpha channel
  18. Press the delete button once on your keyboard
  19. Select none
  20. You can add some extra tubes to your image to decorate (just paste them as a new layer)
  21. Add your watermark at this point
  22. Use your magic wand to select the card (just click somewhere besides the card and make sure your card layer is the active one)
  23. Selections/ invert, Selections/ Modify/ Contract with 20 pixels and once again Selections/ Invert
  24. Effects/ Plugins/ DSB Flux/ Bright noise



  25. Select none
  26. Apply a drop shadow



  27. Copy merged
  28. Open Animation shop
  29. Edit/ Paste/ As new animation
  30. Go back to PSP and press CTRL+ Z three times on your keyboard or use your undo button in PSP
  31. Repeat the Bright noise, but before hitting the OK button click once on the text mix
    Select none and apply the drop shadow of step 26
  32. copy merged
  33. Go back to Animations shop
  34. Edit/ Paste/ After active frame
  35. Back again to PSP
  36. Press CTRL+ Z three times
  37. Repeat the Bright noise once again, but this time click on mix twice
  38. Select none and apply the drop shadow of step 26
  39. Copy merged
  40. Back to Animation shop once more
  41. Edit/ Paste/ After active frame
  42. Test your animation
  43. You can resize your animation to a smaller size by going to Animation/ Resize, with the cubic setting
  44. Save your animation
